My name is Jacob Califano, and I am the founder of Modern Fix, a property maintenance and management company specializing in short-term rentals based in Austin, Texas. I recently graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor's degree in Finance and a minor in Economics. My career journey began at Charles Schwab, where I gained valuable experience in finance. However, I soon discovered my true passion lies in real estate management.

With a solid foundation and support from friends and family in the industry, I entered the field of property management, overseeing 8 units in the Austin and San Diego areas. Alongside this, I personally operate two successful short-term rentals, honing my skills and understanding of what it takes to maintain a thriving rental property.

Driven by my dedication to excellence and a desire to contribute positively to the short-term rental industry, I collaborate closely with industry professionals on new projects.
